Sun City West Sees Upward Trend in Home Sale Prices & Dip in Contracts

Sun City West Real Estate Market Report (May 2017)

A dip in the number of pending transactions in the Sun City West real estate market over the last 30 days has resulted in the lowest levels for contracts in three months. While 90 homes went under contract, there were 142 completed sales. Trending to a 5 month high Sun City West home sales prices are on the increase.  The average sold sale price was $219,713 in April compared to $211,408 in March.  The number of homes for sale in Sun City West was near a record high with 223 homes on the market in April.  March topped the charts at 230 home.  We may be setting a new record in May as there are currently 236 homes listed in Sun City West with homes selling for 97.4% of asking price.  Average days on market are only 52 days and with just 1.68 months inventory we are most definitely in a seller’s market.
